What is the difference between a poster and a sign

A few of you have made some great posters for the drop off zone.



The two images below are examples of how a sign can look.


COMPARE the poster and the signs. HOW are they different?

    The signs below my poster are simpler then my one.Also it has two different colours unlike mine, they have five colours.
