Design

This picture of a messy desk presents an opportunity to design something. There is a need to keep the desk tidy. The design brief could be to "Find a way to keep the desk tidy". There are many ways of solving the PROBLEM of keeping the desk tidy.

  1. I think there should be shelves for the books, a pencil case for the pens, pencils and coloured pens. Also put the cup away and anything else you should put in the desk draws.we could make some shelves.

  2. I think that if there was a place to put the pens and pencils the desk would be a bit tidier. Also add shelves to keep the books on them.

  4. @ Tardis. Think about designing something that could help keep to order to the desk. How do do think the glue, scissors and rulers could be best kept?

  5. They need to keep the desk tidy so they should have something like a crate for the books and a pencil case for all of the other stationary. You could also put all the other stuff in a cupboard or a drawer.

  6. You can use bookends to keep them upright so they don't keep falling down. You can also use an old tin or cup to hold the pens and pencils. A shoe box work really well to keep other stationery tidy.

    Once the desk is clear, the user needs to learn to put things away once they have used them.
